The user interface was inspired by the birth control pills circular packaging because this app helps women with a natural birth control. Also, considering that most users stop using tracking apps if they are complicated we made an effort to make a basic tracking a one-click only experience. This app also provides the most sophisticated analysis tools and graphs on the market today.

Ideation and sketching

The initial ideation of how the product was done using a paper prototype to validate quickly many ideas to differentiate the FEMM’s app from competitors.

I have also created a prototype based on hi-fi wireframes for user testing.

Personas were created based on the clients surveys and workshops. Understanding the needs users gave a base to a custom experience based on unique goals set by them.

We put together lean personas based on the initial research conducted by the client. Using Conceptboard software, I was able to simulate a whiteboard to conduct workshops with participants located in different countries. Based on the data we gathered during these workshops we were able to identify three different goals that women might have when tracking their help. These goals provide direction for the customized app experience. Using Conceptboard software, I was able to simulate a whiteboard to conduct workshops with participants located in different countries. Understanding the customer base via this session helped in shaping a product based on users needs.
